OF EVANSVILLE TEAM UP TO SUPPORT LOCAL
FOOD PANTRY

EVANSVILLE, IND. (January 6, 2005) -- Evansville-based cardiology practice Ohio Valley HeartCare (OVHC) will sponsor a food drive at the University of Evansville men's basketball game on Wednesday, January 12, 2005 to support the Evansville Christian Life Center's food pantry. Fans bringing a canned good or monetary contribution to Roberts Stadium that evening will receive a discounted $7 ticket price for the game, which features the University of Evansville Purple Aces hosting Southern Illinois University. Tip-off time is 7:05 p.m.

Attendees will receive one discounted ticket per food donation. In addition, the first 500 game attendees will receive a free t-shirt. For ticket information, please call the University of Evansville Ticket Office at 812.479.ACES.

"We are proud to support the Evansville Christian Life Center's food pantry and University of Evansville athletics through this program," says Keith Gander, OVHC's marketing coordinator. "Not only will fans enjoy a great night of college basketball, but they will also directly help thousands of local residents who benefit from the food pantry."

Located on South Kentucky Avenue in Evansville, the Evansville Christian Life Center is an independent non-profit corporation devoted to community outreach through a variety of ministries. Its food pantry programs distributed more than 37,000 food items and served nearly 43,000 hot meals in the past year.
