Dr. Deepa H. Kumbar, M.D.

Whether she is treating pediatric cardiology patients at Ohio Valley HeartCare or spending time with her daughters, Dr. Kumbar is never far from daughters. A New York native and board certified in pediatrics and pediatric cardiology, Dr. Kumbar joined our practice in 2003 following her pediatric cardiology fellowship at Hope Children’s Hospital in suburban Chicago and pediatrics residency at the University of Chicago Children’s Hospital. She received her medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine and undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College. Dr. Kumbar enjoys volleyball, playing the piano and traveling. Her husband, Chandrashekar, is an electrophysiologist in Evansville.
