Dr. Stephen L. Dickson, Jr., M.D.

Whether working in the operating room or at home in his kitchen, Dr. Dickson has a recipe for success.

Dr. Dickson joined Ohio Valley HeartCare's surgical team in 2003 from the Charlotte Regional Medical Center in Florida. Board certified in surgery and thoracic surgery, he received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Miami in Florida. He completed his surgical residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, and a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Miami.

In addition to being an amateur chef and astronomer, Dr. Dickson enjoys traveling with his wife, Della, and children.
