Dr. Larry Bucshon, M.D.

Whether it is playing a pick-up basketball game or 18 holes of golf, Dr. Bucshon loves to exercise in his spare time. But unlike his jumpshot or 5-iron swing, his expertise in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery is among the best in the tri-state region.

Upon receiving his bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Dr. Bucshon attended medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He completed his residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he served as chief resident in surgery. Dr. Bucshon is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. When he is away from the office, Dr. Bucshon likes to spend time with his wife, Kathryn, and their children.
